It is interesting how the curves in life's road can change your perspective. Several months ago, I would have been saying we should do this because it is a great cause to support to help those in need. Recently, this has become much more personal as my lovely and wonderful wife Karla was diagnosed with cancel. She is recoving well from surgery last Thursday and the prognosis for her defeating cancer is very good. The American Cancer Society has already made a significant difference in the fight against cancer. My wife is a benefactor today of what they have done and the advances they have helped providein the fight against cancer.
